When you upgrade to a higher-tier subscription, the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged the full fee for the new plan, and your membership period will restart from the current time. Any unused credits from your previous plan will be carried over to your new plan.
If you downgrade to a lower subscription level, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and your credits will remain available until then. After the downgrade takes effect, at each renewal the carried-over balance is kept up to 2× the new plan’s monthly credit allowance; any excess expires.
