Credits
We estimate the video duration based on the number of characters and pauses in your text input, or by the actual duration of your uploaded audio. Credits are billed per 15-second block (any partial block is rounded up to a full block). All talking-video generation uses the V-Character model: at 720p the cost is 4 credits per block; 1080p adds +2 credits per block, 2K adds +10 credits per block, and green screen adds +1 credit per block. The exact credit cost for your settings is always shown on the generation screen before you submit.
If you have an active subscription, you can upgrade to a higher-tier plan for a larger included credit allowance, buy a one-time credit pack from the Billing page or an out-of-credits prompt, or enable Auto Recharge to automatically buy your chosen number of credits when your balance falls below the threshold you set. Purchased credits never expire.
Credits for failed tasks are automatically refunded. If you are not satisfied with the results of a successful task, you can submit feedback through the feedback button on the video detail page. After we review and confirm the issue, the credits for that task will be refunded.
When you upgrade your subscription, we calculate a prorated discount based on the lesser of: (1) your unused credits, or (2) the remaining days in your current billing cycle. This amount is deducted from the price of the new plan, and you'll only pay the difference. The unused credits from your old plan will be revoked.
When you downgrade, your credits stay available until the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. From then on, at each renewal the carried-over balance is kept up to 2× the new plan’s monthly credit allowance and any excess expires. Credit-pack credits are not affected and never expire.
If you cancel your subscription, your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period, and all credits issued to you under the subscription plan will be revoked when your membership expires.
Unused Subscription credits carry over while your subscription is active, with a cap applied at each renewal: the balance carried over from earlier cycles is kept up to 2× your plan’s monthly credit allowance (for annual plans, the yearly allowance divided by 12), any excess expires when your new credits are issued, and the new credits are added on top. However, if you cancel your subscription (either voluntarily or due to payment failure), remaining Subscription credits will be revoked on the day your membership expires.
When you switch to annual billing, the credits for the entire year will be allocated to you in one lump sum, allowing you to plan your usage effectively. Additionally, any unused credits in your account will be retained and carried over to your new annual plan.
VisionStory offers a Weekly Visit Bonus, which rewards users with credits for visiting the platform each week. The higher membership tier, the more credits you receive as a bonus. The bonus is automatically granted when you visit the site during the week. If you do not visit during the week, you will not receive the credits. There is no daily login bonus.
We estimate the podcast duration based on the number of characters and pauses in your script, or by the actual duration of your uploaded audio. Podcast videos render native talking video with the V-Character model, so they use the standard rate of 4 credits per 15 seconds at 720p (1080p adds +2 credits per 15 seconds). If any segment uses a two-person shot, the credit consumption for that segment is doubled. AI-generated cover and scene images cost 1 credit each. If the total credits calculated is a decimal, it is rounded up to the nearest whole number.
We combine the script text from each slide to estimate the total video duration (if a slide has no script, its duration is set to 3 seconds). Presentation videos render native talking video with the V-Character model, so they use the standard rate of 4 credits per 15 seconds, billed on the total narration length — slides themselves do not cost credits. Pro supports up to 720p export, while Advanced and Ultra support up to 2K (2K adds +10 credits per 15 seconds). If the total credits calculated is a decimal, it is rounded up to the nearest whole number.
