Credits

We estimate the video duration based on the number of characters and pauses in your text input, or by the actual duration of your uploaded audio. V-Character talking video costs 1 credit per 4-second interval at 720p, with partial intervals rounded up. 1080p adds 0.5 times the base credits, 2K adds 2.5 times the base credits, and Green Screen adds 0.25 times the base credits. Each add-on is rounded up separately to a whole credit, then added to the base credits. For example, a 60-second talking video costs 15 credits at 720p, 23 at 1080p, or 53 at 2K, before Green Screen. AI Presentation, Video Podcast, Avatar Story, standalone Tools, video face swap, and OpenAPI use separate pricing. The exact credit cost for your settings is always shown on the generation screen before you submit.

If you have an active subscription, you can upgrade to a higher-tier plan for a larger included credit allowance, buy a one-time credit pack (US$0.10 per credit, 50 to 100,000 credits per purchase) from the Billing page or an out-of-credits prompt, or enable Auto Recharge to automatically buy your chosen number of credits when your balance falls below the threshold you set. Purchased credits never expire.

Credits for failed tasks are refunded automatically, and so are the credits for a task you cancel before it finishes. If you are on a paid plan and not satisfied with a successful talking-avatar, Video Podcast, AI Presentation, AI Video Agent, or Viral Music video, you can submit feedback through the feedback button on the video detail page, and the credits for that task will be refunded after we review and confirm the issue. Face Swap and AI Video Generator results have no feedback button, so open a support ticket for those. You will receive an in-app notification with the outcome, and the full decision is posted on the related support ticket in your account rather than sent by email. That review decision is final; if you disagree with it, please open a new support ticket.

When you upgrade your subscription, we calculate a prorated discount based on the lesser of: (1) your unused credits, or (2) the remaining days in your current billing cycle. This amount is deducted from the price of the new plan, and you'll only pay the difference. Subscription credits from your old plan are then cleared, up to one billing cycle's worth of that plan's credit allowance; any balance above that is kept, and your new plan's credits are added on top. Credit-pack credits are not affected and never expire.

When you downgrade, your credits stay available until the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. From then on, at each renewal the carried-over balance is kept up to 2× the new plan’s monthly credit allowance and any excess expires. Credit-pack credits are not affected and never expire.

If you cancel your subscription, your membership stays active until the end of the current billing period, and all credits issued to you under the subscription plan will be revoked when your membership expires.

Unused Subscription credits carry over while your subscription is active, with a cap applied at each renewal: the balance carried over from earlier cycles is kept up to 2× your plan’s monthly credit allowance (for annual plans, the yearly allowance divided by 12), any excess expires when your new credits are issued, and the new credits are added on top. However, if you cancel your subscription (either voluntarily or due to payment failure), remaining Subscription credits will be revoked on the day your membership expires.

When you switch to annual billing, the credits for the entire year are allocated to you in one lump sum, so you can plan your usage across the year. Because switching from monthly to annual is treated as a subscription upgrade, the unused subscription credits on your monthly plan are revoked first — up to one month's credit allowance — and in exchange a prorated discount is applied to the price of the annual plan, based on the lesser of your unused credits or the remaining days in your current billing cycle. Credit-pack credits and bonus credits are not affected.

VisionStory offers a Weekly Visit Bonus, which rewards users with credits for visiting the platform each week. The higher membership tier, the more credits you receive as a bonus. The bonus is automatically granted when you visit the site during the week. If you do not visit during the week, you will not receive the credits. There is no daily login bonus.

Podcast video is billed by the second, with a base charge of 0.5 credits per second. 720p has no resolution add-on; 1080p adds 0.5 credits per second, and 2K adds 1.5 credits per second. The base charge and the resolution add-on are each rounded up separately to whole credits, then added together. So one minute of podcast costs 30 credits at 720p, 60 credits at 1080p, or 120 credits at 2K. Two-person shots are billed at the same rate as single-person shots and are not charged double, so two podcasts of the same length and the same resolution cost the same number of credits, whatever mix of shots you use. The length we bill is the total length of all shots together. When you upload audio, we use the real duration of the audio you selected. When you work from a script, we use the real duration of each segment's voiceover once it has been generated, and segments that have no voiceover yet are estimated from the number of characters and the pause marks in the text. All shot durations are added together and the total is rounded up to a whole second before the base and resolution charges are calculated; shots are not rounded individually. For example, 13 seconds at 1080p costs 7 base credits plus 7 resolution credits, for a total of 14 credits. Scene generation is charged separately: each generation costs 2 credits and produces the full set of shot images plus the two-host cover image, so you are charged once per generation and not once per image. Generating at 1080p or 2K also requires a plan that includes HD or 2K output.

We combine the script text from each slide to estimate the total video duration (if a slide has no script, its duration is set to 3 seconds). AI Presentation has its own rate: the durations of the slides being rendered are added together, divided by 4 seconds, and rounded up to get the number of billing intervals. The base charge is that number multiplied by 1.5 credits. 2K adds that number multiplied by 2 credits. The base charge and the 2K add-on are each rounded up separately to whole credits, then added together. For example, 60 seconds costs 23 credits at 1080p or 53 credits at 2K. Slides themselves do not carry an additional charge. Presentations render at 1080p by default; 2K is available on plans that include 2K output.
